Tent camping is a great activity for the entire family to enjoy. Tents are great now days and there are a number of options to consider.

The first thing you need to decide is how big of a tent to get. If you are like me, you may prefer to get a bit larger tent then you need. I personally like to have a tent rated for two more people then I actually plan to have sleeping in the tent. This extra space allows you to have room for backpacks, clothing, or anything else you need to store in the tent with you.

The next thing I look at is the rain fly. This is the piece of fabric that goes over the top of the tent. I prefer to have a full rain fly that almost goes completely down to the grown (or as large as possible). This will help make sure that the main tent stays dry and is much less likely to leak.

You will have to consider if you want the poles to be made from aluminum or carbon fiber. Although it is true that carbon fiber poles can be fragile, I personally have never had one break. Aluminum poles are strong and durable. Many people swear by these poles. Aluminum poles may be stronger then the carbon fiber ones, but they are also heavier. This is very much a personal choice as to which one will work better for your needs. The other thing to consider about carbon poles though is many companies are running elastic through them. This allows the poles literally to be pre connected where they should be.

I also personally like a tent that has a very open net top of the tent. This increases ventilation in the tent and if you have a large rain fly and an open net tent you can take the rain fly off on clear nights and appreciate the stars. When you are in the middle of no where the stars are spectacular to see.

If you have never tent camped, I would highly recommend you try it somethime. This will give you a true appreciation of nature. There are a wide range of tents to choose from, so it should not be hard to find one that works for you. Try to find stores that actually have the tents set up in them. You can walk around in them and see if they will fit your needs.

There is not much that feels more miserable than getting into a car that is twenty or thirty degrees hotter than the temperature outside in the middle of summer – and in fact, if you do not take the proper precautions to keep your car cooler when it is parked, your car can even be so hot that you will have to wait to drive it! Although there is definitely a certain amount of heat you will have to put up with during the summer regardless of the precautions you take, these steps will help to make your car more bearable during these hot months of summer.

Parking in the shade is a big part of keeping your car from being so hot – but you cannot simply park where the shade is, as the sun will move during the day; when you are parking at a place where you will be for a while, you should figure out where the shade will be by the time you are returning to your car (and remember, it is better to park in the shade and walk a little ways than to park in the sun and have your car feel like an oven!).

Cracking your windows when you park will also be helpful; some people do not like to crack their windows, as they feel this makes their car more susceptible to break-ins, but if you crack your windows just a bit, your car will remain safe, and it will also remain a whole lot cooler.

@@AMAZONWIDGET;car shade;15690151@@.

You can also block the sun from coming in through your windshield by creating a bit of shade when there is no natural shade; while people think of car shades as being “very 1980s,” there are actually some very classy car shades being made today, and this will make your car feel a whole lot better when you get back in.

If you make sure to pay attention to these tips, your car will not be nearly so hot during the summer – which will make driving a whole lot easier, and a whole lot more enjoyable!

Different bosses all tend to take different approaches at work – and of course, each boss is probably taking the approach that they feel most comfortable with, or that they feel is most effective; but even when you realize that an abrasive boss is acting the way they act because they feel more “comfortable” with this, or feel this is “most effective,” this does not make it any easier to deal with it! When you are working for an abrasive boss, however, there are some things you can do – and as long as you follow these tips, it will make your work life a whole lot easier.

First off, it will be important for you to realize that you do not need to be a pushover in order to be cordial; continue to treat your boss with the same level of respect and courtesy you would a boss who treats you with respect and courtesy, but do not allow yourself to get “bullied” by them or the approach they are taking with you.

@@ADSENSE@@.

When a boss is abrasive, one of the things they feel this will do is make the employees feel like they need to please them, but it is important – as an employee working for such a boss – that you keep in mind the fact that you are the person you should be trying to please; you should always feel like you are working hard, and like you are doing the best job possible, and as long as you feel this way, it will not matter how your boss feels!

And of course, realize that there is nothing that is “making you” put up with this boss; you can always look for another job – one where your boss treats you with respect.

When you take this approach to work – being polite without being a pushover, working to feel good about your performance instead of to impress your boss, and realizing that you can always look for another job – it will be much easier to be productive at work (and even to enjoy work!) in spite of having an abrasive boss.
