These are wondeful creatures but sadly they are usually purchased by some jerk breeder who confines these animals to very small kennels and treat these beautiful creatures like products of investments.
IMPORTANT: IF you’re interested in owning a wolfdog may I please suggest that you read this book? You can get it used for practically a few $’s and it’s just a great introduction on wolfdogs, how to raise them, train them, and of course, their behavior!

You have to have a lot of space for a hybrid, just like you have to for wolves. It is best to have an enclosure for them to have as their own space. You’re absolutely right inexperienced people should not get a hybrid. Too often do people get a wild animal and forget that it is wild. This is when mistakes happen, and the animal is blamed.

Ive been a dog training working with high prey drive Dogs like shepherds, Belgium shephards, Rotties, and a a few crosses of Shephards and even a low content wolf hybrid for some years now.
Ive also fostered a few hybrids and there are some differences but the reality is that 90% of people who want Hybrids have no business getting them

Where would I get a low-content wolfdog? I have a cat and two toddlers (little siblings) and I know for a fact I need the lowest content possible. Thing is… all breeders really breed high-contents…. So what would I do in that situation?
