I luv Huskies so much.I want a Husky sooooooooo badly
There are some …
There are some great websites for commands and how to train. We start in the fall with new dogs letting them pull tires across the yard. They go into a harness, we attach a line to them, then to the tire. We use a leader line to guide them as to what to do. A leash will do too. Commands depend on where you live. We use Gee, Haw, Hold out, Hike up, easy, whoa, Get up and so on. All of these can be googled. Good luck, it’s a great sport.

never seen a 3-wheeled titler rig before. I wander why all the land rigs you see from the US use very small wheels?

I’m getting my first sled dog soon, and I have been interested in racing for a really long time. I’m 15 years old, and I was wondering where you get your harnesses and sleds and training sleds and whats the best way to teach your dogs to pull and commands? Could you find them at Big R or something?
Thanks and let me know (:

I would love to train my husky to run like this; but I have no idea where you’d start. I guess you only really have a chance if you’re born into a family that already does it. I’ve heard many say that your dog learns off another dog; but if you’re like me and only have one dog; what are you supposed to do?
Lol.

“Nobody says Mush”. …
“Nobody says Mush”… But in truth you can say anything you want and they will go. “Whoa” in Dog means speed up. Hint: For your next rig, get one with larger diameter wheels and it won’t leap into the air over every rock and bump.
hike, haw, and gee …
hike, haw, and gee are common… i use woah to slow down, but you can train your dogs with whatevever you want, provided it’s easy to remember, and short so you can say it quickly.
what kind of harnesses do you use?? they don’t all look like xbacks to me..
I love it! Great …
I love it! Great video.
An exercised sled dog is a quiet sled dog.
How do they not get …
How do they not get tangled?
I always wonder that.
I think my husky Shaddie would love to do something like that, she acts just like yours do, and I had to take her to training to actually get her to stop pulling she was slicing up my hands with her leash from pulling so hard
I don’t know of any place though in California that enables something like that besides in the mountains I live in the city, and there aren’t any places to do that here & I don’t drive so I can’t take my dogs to the snow.
I have a question …
I have a question for you. ok so I am going to be getting some dogs to train but i was wondering on some things like how do I train my dogs to turn?
Actually “Hike” is …
Actually “Hike” is go…nobody ever uses mush…
Gee is right
Haw is left
Whoa is stop
Gee-over and haw-over aremove to that side of the trail respectively
Easy is slow down
To train them I usually put dogs that do not know the commands in a team of dogs that do so they learn by experience!
